Knowl End Mohair knitting yarn

A unqiue smooth spun mohair DK knitting yarn produced on a small scale at Knowl End Farm in Todmorden, Lancashire, from goats who are almost part of the family! It's nothing like traditional 'fuzzy' mohair, being smooth and lustrous, and doesn't have the potential to tickle that mohair can have. It's almost pure mohair, with just 2% nylon necessary for spinning and is incredibly strong. It can be used for any DK pattern - the sheen makes for beautiful cables - perfect for socks and gloves too. Machine washable (gentle programme). 50g balls.
