Claudia Fingering is softest 100% pure merino wool, while Claudia Fingering 55 is a truly luxurious blend of 55% silk with 45% merino wool. Claudia sock knitting yarns should be gently handwashed as they don't have the nylon content that gives sock wools their rugged durability. Claudia sock knitting skeins are works of art in their own right - each one is a unique colourway. Each skein is 50g, 175 - 180yds and 2 skeins (100g) will make a pair of medium sized adult socks.
