Fiber Trends felting patterns

We're showcasing a great range of felting patterns from Fiber Trends which are fun to knit and crochet and to felt - including bears, ballet slippers, bags, llamas, clogs, boots, caps and even a birdhouse. Remember you need pure wool to felt, not superwash or machine washable and knit at a loose tension. You can felt in a front loading washing machine at 40'(add a pair of jeans or similar to increase the agitation), or by hand, using a bowl each of hot and cold water and moving the item between them with lots of agitation. Felting is not an exact science so where fit is important it's best to hand felt and check the size as you go. Follow this link for (Twilley's Freedom Wool) which is perfect for felting.
