Lace scarves and shawls
Lace knitting is the ultimate showcase of the knitter's craft, and not always as hard as it looks. This great collection of patterns and designs (inc scarves, shawls, stoles, scarves, ponchos and wraps) from Lorna's Laces, Heartstrings and Fibre Trends includes patterns from such masters of the craft as Eugen Beugler and Evelyn Clark, and ranges from the simple Old Shale stitch of Shoalwater to those like Spring Blossoms that require concentration. Patterns include charted and written instructions and to see a larger image click on the photograph. Be inspired by our stunning collection of hand painted and nearly solid (lace weight yarns) from Claudia, Helens Lace, Noro, Regia and others
