It's the lace equivalent of Zauberball 4 ply sock knitting yarn and the same practical blend of 75% superwash wool and 25% nylon but in a single ply yarn. Schoppel Wolle Lace Ball lace knitting yarn is also great value at 800m per 100g ball and 1 ball will make a generous scarf or 2 Lace Balls for a sizeable shawl. Suggested needle size is 4.5mm, with a tension of 28st/ 28 rows to 10cm
