250g 3 ply or 2 ply baby yarn. Square shawl 127cm (50in) square. Tension 26st/ 34 rows to 10cm in either yarn. 3 ply - 4mm needles: 2 ply 4.5mm needles.
Circular shawl 200g 3 ply or 150g 2 ply. Tension 22st/ 30 rows to 10cm in either yarn. 5mm needles for 3 ply, 5.5mm for 2 ply yarn. Quantity based on acrylic/ nylon blend baby yarn
